I was six or seven years old and it was the time when, for the first time i understood the notion of the word beauty. It struck me in a vision and since that day, that vision has underlined all my appreciation of beauty. It stands as the landmark of any consideration, of any feeling that makes me stirr.
It was the image of a woman in her 30's, long blonde hair parted in the middle evocative of twiggy. She had a 60's blouse, green with black and white ying and yang sort of thingys. A short leather skirt and brown leather boots up above her knees that zipped up on the side. A half tribal necklace and a bracelet made the image perfect. She was a teacher and taught french in a private school. She was standing in front of a classroom full of children, still haven't figured out if learning franch or if trying to grasp (like I did that morning) the concept of beauty.
She was and still is my mother!
